Dammit, its a new year. Whats going on?

Okay embarrassing story time.

I forgot my password. Then I forgot my user name. I then forgot my email address.

So I get my user name and change my password... cool. I now find out that there is a new version of Blogger available.

Suffice to say I haven't upgraded cos it might take another 6 months for me to update my blog.

Embarrassing story over. I'm back.

Excuses for not updating my blog? There are none, but let me give a brief overview of my last months since September. Basically I extended my contract for three months to get me to Christmas. That worked, it was busy and stressful. With the rugby in November and the stag weekend and the Africa planning as well things just went crazy. So December, Africa...

I think I'll write a bit about each of these in coming weeks because each of the places I went (for those who don't know - South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe) were different and eye opening in so many different ways. Strangely contrasted to the wedding I went to in London when I got back. I couldn't do any country any justice in this post so I won't.

So that's it for me at the moment. I'm looking for work currently and trying desperately not to become a financial analyst (why does the money have to be so good?). I got my standards okay, and becoming an accountant would destroy my soul. I like my soul.

One bad thing about looking for work at the moment is that I live in a really old building in central London close to the tourist route. Tourists take photos of my flat. Currently the foyer and central staircase are being renovated. It's noisy, they have jackhammers. I'm calling agents and companies to find work. I live in a construction zone. I almost have a constant headache.

I need a holiday.
